Edit - just watched it. Another GREAT video (thanks for posting!)... Xavier was closing like a train in the final 30m. I think he'd definitely have the edge over Spearmon over a 300m or 400m race.

The videos remind me that the Fayetteville track really catapults people in lane six, and to a lesser extent lane 5, off that second turn toward the finish line.

Overall, I think that lane 5 is the preferred lane.
