Lady Vols national champs!!!

The NCAA site does not have team results link, but I clicked on 4x4 and saw that Tennessee had more points than everybody. I hope that means we are national champs!!!

J.J. Clark, what a job. If we let him get away like we did Terry Crawford, Stan Huntsman, and Doug Brown, I will scream!!! But I know we won't. We have a ton of money and we will use it to keep him on "The Hill."

Yes I must also offer congratulations on the tremendous turn around in the program thanks to JJ, his staff and the young Lady Vols. From the abyss this program was stuck in for soooo long it is nice to see them back among the best and for now, the best. Its just amazed me that the UT admin did not see the error in their hiring ways for the previous two head coaches who clearly did not have the right stuff and yet they tolerated losing. I know its "just track, especially women's track" but we are talking one of the best programs in the sport for a couple decades. There are a few other proud programs that currently are tolerating average to awful coaching situations that I frankly find disgusting. Disgusting not that track should be like basketball and football and fire a coach at the whim of a few powerful alums (of course we are seeing a bit of that talk at the U of Oregon) but really the athletes suffer when administrators don't care enough to insist on quality programs.
