Results can be found below. Our scoreboard needs updating (our two Lady Vol national titles are not on there -- one was AIAW). A letter would be a waste of time though. They don't listen to ol' BV. :-) This meet is called the Gatorade Classic. Gatorade was developed by Stokely-Van Camp company. The Stokely family is among Tennessee's most well known and loyal alumni. I believe four generations of Stokelys have attended Tennessee. FYI! Gatorade was developed at the University of Florida, where football coach Ray Graves (Tennessee grad) allowed his players to be used as subjects for the Gatorade project.
Then next week is Sea Ray, formerly known as Dogwood Relays. Named after the beautiful trees that are in bloom all over town at this time of year of course. What great memories from that event. I wish they'd tweak the event and market it, but again, they don't pay me no attention. Still great fun, though! This meet usually produces top marks and I'd encourage anybody good enough to participate!!! :-)
