RW ran 1:44.1 for the 880y, but they didn't have a clock set up to time the 800m part, hence his time on the all time list appears as 1:43.5+ (converted from yards). There is a pic of the race on the cover of the July 1974 T&F News in the archives section.

I feel if that he can run to his potential at 800
meters that the world mark in the smr will be broken.
