Well, we can't blame them for not knowing who she is. The US coverage of the Olympics was confined only to American athletes, even when they were not winning. And of course, as we all know, US media does not cover other international track & field events, so there you go.

is she was a former All-American sprinter from
Arkansas who was a former NCAA indoor 200m
champion who holds the indoor collegiate mark of
I believe 22.43 seconds.
