Not enough of Gabe
I loved the Gabe Jennings articles and am now left wondering what is going on with his running. I'm also one of those freaks who everyday read Spiker's, Watson's, McArdle's, Magness's, Solinsky's, etc journals online... but still... I'm sure there others like me out there starved to see what our athletes are doing on a daily basis. I say MORE GABE!!! Can anyone tell me what he is doing as far as his running goes right now?Tags: None

Re: Not enough of Gabe
According to Gabe's mom, Suzanne, as of 10 days ago or so, he's training 90-plus miles a week and is very motivated. He hasn't yet decided where he's going to train once he begins the more intense part of his preparation. I don't think he'd had any in-depth discussions with Vin Lananna about plans, but Vin's move to Oberlin obviously will be a factor in whatever decision Gabe makes.

Re: Not enough of Gabe
I hope he goes to Oberlin to train with Lananna. When's the last time there's been a track stud from Ohio, besides Butch Reyonds in the sprints(Kennedy doesn't count, he's been an Indiana boy since HS)?
What a kick to see world class athletes truning the place into another Alamosa!
