Junior Olympics webcast on usatf.org
MIAMI - USATF, in cooperation with i2sports, is webcasting the 2003 USATF
National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships live at www.usatf.org
for the third consecutive year. The webcast began with the start of the
meet at 8 a.m. today (Tuesday, July 29) and will continue through the final
event of competition on August 3.
Nearly 25,000 fans logged in to watch last year's webcast of the Junior
Olympic Championships, part of the Verizon Youth Series.
To watch the live web cast of the 2003 Championships, visit www.usatf.org or
i2sports.com. For proper viewing, Windows Media player and a high-speed
internet connection (384 Kbps or faster--cable modem, DSL, T1, etc.) are
required. A 56 Kbps dial-up connection is insufficient, and will most
likely transmit audio only.
The 2003 Junior Olympic Championships features record participation of 7,306
youth athletes. For a full list of entrants, and for results from the meet,
visit www.usatf.org.
