I saw where Stanford's Grant Robison ran 3:35.75 today in Belgium. Forget Stember and Jennings, Robison could be the next great Stanford miler.

Forget Jennings? Wouldn't that be against the Board's rules? I suppose next the thing you're going to suggest is that we forget Usain Bolt.

    We'll hear none of this!

      Stember 3:35.11
      Jennings 3:35.21
      Robison 3:35.75

Can any other school claim three guys that fast on their alltime lists? Heck, how many schools can claim ONE guy that fast?

            Re: Grant Robison

Agreed that Stanford has a great track record in producing milers/1500 but how will things pan out in the post-Vin era? Any thoughts or observations on the how the returning runners are responding to the coaching change?

Robison's stride type (and cross country experience) seems to indicate he would also have a future in 5K. He was tantalizing close to the "A" standard.
