200 - If Kederis does his usual genie act (appear, do some mumbo-jumbo magic, and then disppear) he wins, but so could Capel and Patton
400 - Tyree
110H - my man AJ
400H - If Sanchez stuuter steps, it's Jackson or even Thomas
PV - All 3 could do it.
LJ - All 3 definitely could win
SP - Toth or Nelson or Godina
both relays!

Women
100/200 - I really see White doing it.
100H - Devers
400H - Glover has outside shot
PV - C'mon Stacy!
4x1 - lock city (hold breath on exchanges)
4x4 - I'm saying it now - we beat them Rooskis agin.

That's 17 events, but I concede 3 of them. 14 could happen.

i doubt it !
i think our best chances are in the following:
men's events:
400: tyree is the favorite, but harrison and young are solid too
110 h: without jackson and garcia strugling johnson is the big favorite
long jump: phillips has been very consistent at 27 plus, but stringfellow can unleash 28 ft in paris
4 x 4: unless there are injuries we will win it
4 X 1: unless we have horrendous passes we will beat the brits easily
sp: godina and nelson went 1-2 last time and i think their experience will shine thru again unless someone unleashes a mid 71 ft throw
100: greene, monty, williams could easily win, but maybe this is the year they get upset
200: kenteris might not be at his best so patton or capel could win.
outside chance in men's events:
decathlon: who knows sebrle might pull out a dan in the pv and then pappas should win
800: krumenacker did it indoors, but has not be that sharp outdoors
pv: doubt it, noboby has been consistent
400 h: doubt felix will lose
women's events:
100 h: devers will be the favorite again
200: the three fastest are americans, but only white has even medaled before in this event
4 x 1: if he pass well we have enough depth to win
100: white could win, but she is not running like she did in may and june
outside chance:
400 h: if glover has the meet of her life, but i doubt she can be higher than 3rd
pv: dragila ? not this year
4 x 4: not enough depth to beat russia and jamaica
1500: regina or suzy ? not !

worse case senario: men: 5 golds, women: 2 golds, total: 7 golds
best case senarion: men: 10 golds, women: 5 golds
total 15 golds
most likely case senarion: men: 7 golds, women: 3 golds, total 10 golds
