  • Womens US WC 4X100

Who do you think will make up the team? Looking at the 100M Roster doesn't necessarily inspire confidence. L. Barber, L. Williams, and Muna Lee are all fairly young. Williams stick work has been questionable, and I haven't seen Barber on a 4X100 since she was at South Carolina (02?) Thought I don't doubt she would an adequate leg. I guess it seems we are missing those big names for a 4x100. Who is going to be on it, and what legs will they run?

Guess nobody likes relay talk. This is my attempt to move this to the front page again.

Young is good, since the younger they are the closer they are to their college(hs?) days when they regularly did relay duty, i.e. less, if any, rust with the stick.

That said, I think our best 4x100 this year would be L. Williams, Felix, Lee, Barber. Wouldn't hold my breath on Felix being picked, but she SHOULD be on there. That is our best quartet, IF the handoffs click.

Too bad my girl Brice didn't make it never saw
        her run on a relay.

My only Concern with Felix on a relay is she isn't very "sudden". Takes her a min to get going, though she obviously has the top end speed (and even 11.1 hundred credentials). If she were to run second leg, she would need to give the incoming runner alot of Room.

Which she did at Penn Relays. Unfortunately, the incoming runner (A. Williams), was to slow and Felix had to slow down.
