  • IAAF Qualifying Standards

Where is an online reference explaining the qualifying standards for the World Championships (and Olympics)? I am specifically looking for the specific A and B times/hieghts/distances, how/when the provisional standards come in to play, and who has made the cut so far.

I've searched www.iaaf.org with no luck.

Does such a resource exist online?

Well, if you're setting the odds, it must be Kevin Hicks. Where can I get some of that action?

OK, if the odds are 100-1, I'll put $2 on Hicks.

Wow, so there is only one competition in the US (Penn Relays) in which relay entry standards can be achieved?

Yes, but it's basically irrelevant because the U.S. qualified all four of its teams at the OG last year.

OK, I see, it's a rolling qualification basically...last year's Olys qualify you for this years Worlds, which qualifies you for next years...ad infinitum...unless you drop one of course.
