THIRD FASTEST OUT: World silver medallist, 100m runner Debbie Ferguson is out of the Super GP with a foot injury. She hurt her left ankle while training and needs futher tests to see how long she is out. Holding the third fastest time this year she was one of the favourites for today. However there is still a very strong field, world champion Zhana Block continues her comeback from injury, Americans Chryste Gaines and Inger Miller will run as well as Christine Arron from France and veteran Merlene Ottey.

women's B sprint went off into a 1.6 wind; mid-afternoon temperature just 72, so doesn't sound as if conditions are going to be optimal for sprinting.

well, tbe recent run of 100 degree days in Paris would have been great for sprinting....

hope the warmish weather holds for 3 more weeeks!!
