Where can the standards be found? I combed around the IAAF site and couldn't find them.

Here's hoping everyone who just missed the standard this season hangs around Europe to blast PR's in the remaining meets for next year.
    (I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't!)

Note also that the same standards apply for next year, and we're inside the window, so Meb now has an Olympic A in the event, which is a nice leg up.

No, because somebody who didn't run at Nationals can't bounce somebody who did. Hence, Meb can't bounce anybody in the 5K and Krumm can't bounce anyone in the 1500.

Unlikely Meb would want to double anyway, or else he would have run the 5 at Stanford.

I've read Garry's comment that USATF's two goals are respecting the order of USATF finish and maximizing team size. If Kennedy or somebody else gets an A, might they then go with that person and Meb? I mean, it's not like the "must run at nationals" rule is federal law -- ultimately, USATF decides who is on the team and who isn't.

Meb cannot run the 5000 for the US in Paris because he did not compete in the event at USATF.

Two Americans would have to run the 'A' Standard in order to boot Torres off the team. Since Kennedy and Abdi are both running the 5000m in Norwich on Friday they will have a shot but both would have to run it.

13:20.50. He didn't run the 5 at Nationals. Torres has the B and remains the lone US representative.

    Keflezighi

A question for GH. Keflezighi just got an A qualifier at DN Galan. Does that make him our entry, since Broe doesn't even have the B?
