USA Today, along with Track & Fields' Jack Shepherd put together an All USA girls/boys team for track and field. Links are below:

It seems to me that there were some distance athletes that were left off while others were put on when they really didn't seem to fit the stated criteria. Such as:
GIRLS
Katie Harrington should have made the list before Zoe Nelson. Katie ran at many national meets this year and accomplished an outstanding, break-through season. Zoe,although the XC FL champion(XC NOT being part of the criteria), ran only the Golden West national meet this year, where her time was slower than Harringtons and the field was less than stellar.
BOYS
Carl Moe belongs on this list. Ranked higher than Curtis in both the mile and the two miler. He deserved to be on that list before Bobby Curtis.
I'm sure that others have comments on this list. It would be interesting to see them. And, please keep it civil!
