Too bad that show The Swan isn't on anymore eh?

You know I will gladly give up my standing if another Canadian could win instead.

                  i disagree - & i have the ticket to disagree !

the crowd actually had ff as the favorite ( sentimental one, once kk had been kicked out ) - he got the biggest cheer

gatlin got the next biggest one, as the baby-cheeked 100 champ

                  zebra ?

i'm not going to describe what the crowd said to him ! ( i don't know greek words for f*!?%"$ as$"%^* , but that seemed to be the lingua franca )

zebra's win in those circumstances was pure genius, not based on any pschying out of gatlin -the crowd loved him

gatlin just got shatered by the emotion of winning the 100 - it's tough to come back after that !

Missed your review of "Dukes of Hazzard". Our local blatt (you remember the Chron) uses a "little man" icon, ranging from him standing on back of chair applauding wildly to an empty chair. DoH got the empty chair. I guess I don't understand how a putrid TV show can generate a movie by a major studio. It has been going on for awhile. Ah, it gets you away from the monitor :-" (that's my Dick Cheney emoticon)

Well, this is your lucky (sic) day:

Dukes of Hazzard – This movie is a landmark achievement for Hollywood. It proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that you can entertain an audience without a single actor with any ability whatsoever. Bo and Luke Duke are completely miscast, and Ms. Simpson has one singular talent to her name, well two. But the soundtrack has every great southern rock anthem, and the car stunts are literally death-defying. Southern audiences will eat this up; few others will.

With Mulaudzi not making the final, several of us have calf cramps that are going to hinder our kick to the finish. Can only hope that Borza doesn't win . . .

Did anyone NOT pick the US in the 4x1? On that one, I presume we've all got the same cramp.

Other than those two, I'm happy with my remaining picks, tho the marathons are always a crap shoot.
