Which WC record has the best chance to be broken in Paris?

W- Marathon (2:25.17), 1500 (3:58.56), PV (4.75) in that order..

M- Maybe 5000 (12:58.13) or the marathan (2:10.03)

You're kidding about the distance marks, right? It looks like the weather might break and it might be cooler but 2:10 isn't jogging and it's gonna be run starting at 2:20 in the afternoon.

I can see the w1500 WC record falling but anything above that has to be considered VERY doubtful until the weather (had highs of 100+ F/38+ C much of the last couple weeks) breaks.

The wHT (75.20m) has a good chance of being broken by any one of three athletes (Moreno, Kuzenkova, Montebrun).

Also, with Pechonkina's recent WR in the 400mh, there is a small possibility she could go under Batten's 52.61 again for the WCh record, especially when being chased by Pittman, Glover, Tirlea and Danvers.

At first I thought, geez, there's gotta be more than that. Then I really looked at the records ....

But what about the wHJ? There's been a 2.05 and 2.06 this year and you've got a strong, rising field that is hungry for it. Course, that would be a WR, too ...

Yah. In a GP meet with a rabbit and a whole bunch of guys looking for fast times. Chebii is a gonna sit and kick on whoever is leading, especially since Bekele isn't running the 5k.

She's only starting to get up to speed, coming back from serious illness and hasn't raced much this year. Something tells me we ain't seen nothing yet.
