i am really surprised that campbell did not medal, she started well but then veered into lane 8, almost hit the other runner. then she faded in the stretch and did not even medal. so much for jammin predicting she would win 3 gold medals. i remember he cursed at me and tafnut when we said she would not because felix and williams are worthy oppponents.Comment

Sorry for Campbell. My heart wanted her to win...but my head had her in 4th or 5th based on Semi final performances.
I still feel she chose to focus more on the 100m this year than the 200m. And she improved he medal placing in the 100m so that was not wasted. For next year I hope she focusses hard on the commonwealth games for both 100 and 200m.Comment

This will be my third time saying this, "If I was jammin, I would not say anything until the WC's are over." If he does not respond, he is a smart man.Comment

Congratulation to Felix. She is a consummate professional.
Something has gone wrong in VC's camp. After running 22.05 last year, I thought she would be running 21.9 by this time of the year. What went wrong? Her 100m times have been around the same as last year. It looks like she hasn't improved at all. I think she needs to seriously consider changing her coach. I have never been confortable with the coach she has.Comment

Gaevert ran a better time in the semis(I think she pushed it too hard in the intial 100), there is no way she should have run a 22.8 in the finals. That said she would have been hard pressed for anything but bronze..Comment

Maybe Gevaert should run more 400Ms. I think she would be stronger for the 200M [her main event, although better in the 60M (indoors) than the 100M (weird)]. I am a fan of hers and hopes she gets better by the year.Comment
