What the hell happened to the Bahamas? Looked like she just fell over her own feet?

Sturrup lost her balance and fell waiting for the baton.

The Russians messed up the last pass.

        The US girls looked great!

The BBC were showing slo-mo replays and Sturrup was actually knocked over by Daigle. Sturrup was in the 'tripod' starting position with her right hand stretched straight out behind her. Unfortunately, her was just poking outside of her lane and as she started to run, Daigle sped past and knocked her hand. It wasn't much of a collision, but at that speed it was enough to throw Sturrup off her balance.

Daigle ran the first, Muna Lee the second leg.

I know. Daigle was in the lane outside of BAH and it (the slight knock into Sturrup) happened as Daigle was coming in to change over to Lee.

It's difficult to describe - much easier to understand with a slow-mo video replay.

That was an awesome final. The US women ran very well in the 4*100m. THe anchor is the perfect place for L Williams. She ran beautifully.

Jamaica ran well for Silver. Would be nice to have a relay where the top four runners from both teams are in peak form....and they have flawless exchanges....and push each other to erase the old GDR mark. Oh wait I am dreaming again!
