Tom- i just hope that he doesn't warrant an invite to pre until he runs 3:40/3:58 or bettter, even if it does make for good tv. better to have an extra highschooler, even if it keeps guys like me out, rather than a slow con. sorry for the negativity but....

Going off to a prison isn't too different than being relatively isolated from distractions in an East African village...
Lots of good things can happen when allowed that level of focus, even if forced.

I guess in prison you have to run fast especially if King Homo is chasing you.

I figure he has about as much a chance as weirdo Gabe Jennings, well, maybe not even that much. I think I would cheer louder for the ex-con than the biking goofball, but that is just me.

Now there's an idea for a prime time special a match race "con vs. nut".

That's might finally get the American people to watch track!

                Are you listening Craig?

                  Re: Real life Jericho Mile

You won't be seeing this guy at any trials(unless there is a jury involved). The guy has'nt run any races in 10+ years, spends too much time building strength, and weighs 170 pounds. His first invitation to a big race will be his last.

allow me to repeat what i said on the other thread on this insipid topic:

                    <<in a word--ôk, a sentence-anybody want to buy a bridge?

i am told this silliness went around the lesser boards a couple of months back... i had hoped this one was above dallying in such silliness>>

i repeat: join the real world people. that, or start a thread about the validity of crop circles, if you know what I mean, and I think you do. There is no friggin' easter bunny.

I apologize for bringing this back to the top, but I'm reading my SI that just came in the mail, and there on page 20 is Mr. Gill. I guess bogus publicity is better than none.
