  • Helsinki - Last Chance

Zurich was great and answered many WC questions, but Helsinki Monday is the last stop before Paris for several medal contenders.
The women's events seem sub-par but the men will have significant clashes.
100 - Patton and Fredericks tune for the 200 vs. Crawford and Gatlin.
    200 - JJJ vs. Crawford
    110H - the bronze goes to Wade-Phillips-Trammell?
    400H - Herbert & Woody
    HJ - Freitag
    PV - Lobinger, Hartwig, Hysong
LJ - Beckford still got one in him?
SP - Cantwell faces dark horses Belonog, Olsen, Harju
JT - Bronze to Hecht or Henry?

Get ready to mark your final ballots for the four prediction contests (that I know of).

Besides T&FN's, what are the other three?

T&FN has two separate contests, the one on-line and the one in the magazine (name every medalist).
      There's one here: http://www.athleticslinks.com/contest.html
      and another here:

      any others?

The meet is today 1:00-3:00 EDT. Last chance for some of these suckers to get their heads on right.

Well that was rather blah. Didn't change my opinion on anyone. I wanted to see what Trammell could do, but obviously he hit some hurdles. Does anyone know what happened to him?
