whilst surfing, i found a nice link to the iaaf's actual rules - it's exhaustive, but worth keeping for it's value:
It's not worth keeping for very long. The new rule book, incorporating all the amendments that were approved at the IAAF Congress in Helsinki, is due to be published November 1. Presumably, the web site will be updated soon thereafter.
