Stacy D is out, did not look good on any of her attemps. She wasn't running well. Did she go into this with an injury?

Re: Stacy D is out- Russians move on
Stacy has a new coach, but I'm not convinced that was a wise move. She's jumping worse than ever. At least she didn't no-height this time, as with world indoor championships. At her age, she may not have another shot. Where are the next generation of vaulters to keep America in the running?

Re: Stacy D is out- Russians move on
See the issue of T&FN that's already in the mail for a long interview with Dragila relative to her coaching situation and what's she trying to do to reinvent her technique. Some very good reading.
She has flown back home to train for 10 days before coming back to Europe to wrap up the rest of the GP season.
If Becker hadn't jumped out of her head yesterday, Dragila probabably medals. She's admittedly not at Feofanova's level at the moment, but she's closer to the top than any other American woman field eventer. Don't be writing her off quite yet.
