  • RAK Half -- women's WR broken, Kosgei beaten

    Yeshaneh Ababel Brihane (in various orders) has run 64:31 for a new WR, beating Brigid Kosgei by 18 seconds, in the RAK Half. The men's race was won in 58:58 by Kibiwott Kandie. Results: https://www.therakhalfmarathon.com/results/

      Was the women race women's only?

        She had a male pacer...as far as the standards go...so what....still the fastest ever which is all that really matters.

              The problem with women's only records those races are fewer....and besides with masters road records no one notices they are never in masters only races. So this obsession with women only races is bewildering.

                Interestingly, she even appeared tired after the race and did not recover within seconds of finishing.
