      Nice quote:

"I made a great living, traveled the world and met special people because I ran in circles quickly. And that:s lucky."

There have been quite a few american highschool runners who ran 4:05 or better as Bob did but none of them went on to run the 5,000 as fast. Congrats on a great run Bob!
        phsstt!

Kennedy probably ran up to his potential, despite several unlucky breaks. His 3,000 and 5,000 AR are still standing. Wish him all the best in future endeavors!

He had a great career. He was a courageous, tough competitor who always ran as hard as he could. My thanks and congratulations to him...

Unfortunately, he was a 4:05 high schooler in the 1600, making him only a 4:06 miler :-)

Depending on what's after the decimal, possible only a 4:07!
