Amongst the more fortunate t&f athletes are those few who can jump or shot put in their back garden or long throwers who live on a farm with a throwing circle. And of course, those who do most of their training running or walking on roads.

                He's counting. I can count to 10 in several languages - can't speak'em.
He admitted last year that he can't really speak the language much, but he understands what his mom says in Swedish, so that's a start. Living over there in the summers should accelerate his mastery mightily. I took German for 7 years before I studied there for 6 months and actually became pretty fluent. Nothing works better than HAVING to speak it!

That doesn't surprise me at all....I posted a similar study earlier....one reason I avoid the bike paths or trails in town....

                      No, he is not counting..
He says approximately "Hi, Mondo here. I am training in my backyard now. Everything else here is closed."

I know enough Swedish to know he is not counting...my grandmother spoke Swedish fluently and often counted to us in Swedish...and lots of phrases ....which I don't remember now...

Anyways that was fun to hear..

                        Here is 1-10 in Swedish..
