As a misnamed thread says, www.iaaf.org is great for live results. The site has improved markedly. But two criticisms:
1) Why in the world in the middle of WC's is the top headline at the WC site "Live Chat with President Lamine Diack - The Transcript"? I thought the personality cult for the IAAF president died with the previous incumbent. Guess not.
2) Who writes the articles on the site? The style is flowery and oftentimes just silly.
Are these English versions direct translations of articles originally written in another language?
Nevertheless, if you stick to the instant results, the site is super.
