Eurosport are a bit slow on the uptake. BBC had the story ten days ago:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/athletics/4641276.stm
Edit: just seen that the date of the Eurosport article is the same as the BBC.

When I first saw it, I just thought it was quite a 'nothing' news story. I can't remember El G saying that he would compete indoors - plus, how many 'withdrawals' has El G made now (numerous WXC, the whole of last season, etc)?

Originally posted by kuhaObviously, the question is how much does El G have to prove to himself? And, how much effort are a few more paydays worth? How many more third cousins should he buy new houses for?
But dontcha wanna see what El G can do in the 5 or 10? Maybe he and Bekele can clash over some 3's!

Or maybe he just got straight up spanked by a real miler!
Hold on, hold on. Let this one play itself out. Let the little Ethiopian get his miling legs up under him. He's got a learning curve for training, racing, warming up, etc. By the summer, he's a sub-3:50 guy easily.
