  • Gleb Dudarev of Belarus (and Kansas, but not right now) moved to #8 on the A-T 35lb weight list with a 24.82 at KU.

    • Nilsen reportedly cleared 5.90 in South Dakota today, though the meet results (which appear to have frozen after this height) still list him at 5.61.

Lightfoot 5.94 and 5.90... that is a first two meets of the season on par with any elite vaulter, ever.

        • Alejandro Perlaza (Zapata) of Colombia - #9 A-T world 500 with a 60.66 at Liberty

Also... 14.52 wTJ for Thea LaFond

          • Athing Mu of Texas A&M had no chance of a WR in the w600 after a slowish opening 200. In her AR in 2019 she passed 400 in 55.03, today in 57.18.

She did get the CR in 1:25.80.

In the m600, A&M freshman Brandon Miller narrowly missed the U20 AR with a 1:17.09. Cas Loxsom holds that best at 1:16.92.

You're missing Lightfoot's ancillary 5.85 from last weekend.

Let’s not forget Mondo only jumped in a total of 5 indoor meets in college, broke the NCAA record and won NCAA Championship. Lightfoot has jumped in 14....not taking anything away from KC he is doing great!!! Mondo averaged over 6.086 indoors last year (his “Sophomore season”).

As I said before - Mondo who?
Mondo is just getting started. When he's done, I expect him to surpass Bubka as the GOAT. We'll let KC (not initials!) have his day in the sun.

                        • I had forgotten how good Barber was. I thought he was going to be in the mix for many years. He was on fire in '15.

Is that with or without his Sunshine Band?

                              • So, after the lost year of 2020, on a weekend in January, the first meets of the new year we have: 1)Kerley 45.03 2)Bolling 45.51r 3)Burrell 45.11r and 4) Deadmon 32.73 300m....not a bad 4x4...what would Deadmon's 32.73 equate to for 400m?
