      I also find it interesting that almost all women, elite or not, do not bring their lead foot under their knee in the second phase, but almost all elite men do, My best girl, 4th at the State meet did a full-out jeté. Povea splits (pun?) the difference. Here's a great TJer! . . .

              Wind was 0.7.
              3rd longest on the all-time European list, and 16th longest on the World performers list.

                            That is true! But does his EC win in Torun this March (8.35), and his 2018 outdoor EC win with a season best (8.25), count as jumping well in big meets?
