I think that's the sort of reaction that was missing on a certain 8.60m LJ earlier this year...

            • who would. have ever thought we'd see Turkey as world leader in men's 4x1 this late in the season?

              • Cant seem to find any results to that ATL track meet in Georgia that Nageotte PV 4.94m at (I see on twitter T&FN is looking for results as well) but at that meet, Lorraine Ugen jumped 6.94m in the Long Jump. Thats her 2nd best jump only after her 7.05 PB from 2018

OK, 1890m of altitude helps explain a 38.20

Looks like it helped them get to Tokyo also, now 15 out of 16. Some movement in the mixed 4x400 Oly 'q' from that meet also.

                    • At the Nigerian Olympic Trials:

                      Blessing Okagbare 10.62 (+2.7)

                      Race video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbQehfnjdA8

Im getting different numbers, but I think converted its about 10.76 (0.0) or 10.66 (+2.0)

                      • Looks like Warhorse will not be opening until July 1st in Oslo afaik. Seems like the season is well on its way and he has not had one outdoor race. I thought he would have raced by now. He has got to be the only athlete who has not opened up so far? I'll go out on a limb here and say he gets the WR in his first 400mH of the season. He's been doing some secret training in an underground facility.

He already opened 2 weeks ago running 33.26 in the 300mH, half a second faster than his WR in the event about the same time last year.

Interesting, but not surprised (at things being unclear). Someone noted Rosmary Chukwuma ran 10.8 behind Okagbare, but yours is the only results sheet I have seen so far.

Im guessing it was truly wind aided though, but in the mens race, Enoch Adedoke ran 9.97 (+1.2). But who knows
