Eases a couple of performances from the '80s out of the all-time European top 10:

      Erwin Skamrahl 1983 European Record & Derek Redmond's 1987 UK record both @ 44.50.

              • Elijah Hall edged Marvin Bracy-Williams 10.04-10.05 in the m100.

Hall came back to demolish the 200 field in 20.11.

Looked like the Hall of old!

                • Maggie Ewen was "3rd" in the wSP at 19.22 (actually 2nd, but you know, DL sudden death...) She was winning until the 6th round when Dongmo went 19.35 and Roos 19.01.

                  • Something interesting but not quite exciting T&F wise. I noticed the young lady Dr. Anasztazia Nguyen in the Hungary meet. She has a PB in the LJ of 6.77. Moves her to #4 for Hungary and would give her the Vietnamese NR (even though she is Hungarian). Curious if anyone knows her back story? I know many Vietnamese immigrated for work to Eastern European nations and stayed after the fall of communism. Culturally, I think they put a high value on education and not sports so she seems to be unique in this manner esp.given there are many of them throughout the world but we don't see them represented. I'm not sure if she is mixed or just married to an ethnic Hungarian nor what her degree might be or how she got involved in athletics. Anyone have any insights?

According to wikipedia -- "Nguyen was born in the Hungarian capital Budapest[2] to a Vietnamese father and a Hungarian mother. Her father left the family when Anasztázia was a child and she was brought up by her mother.[3]"

Ah Thanks, I tried Wiki but must have typed it in wrong. Her PB of 6.77 puts her at #4 on the Hungarian list and would be the NR for Vietnam. Surprised not more Vietnamese - home or abroad don't compete much.

She competed for University of Houston, 2013, 2014. Had a LJ best of 18-2.5 in 2013. Her bio says she ran a 3000m in '13 and threw the shot in high school (obviously wrong).

                            Here's her TFRRS results. https://www.tfrrs.org/athletes/4219283.html
