    Here's her TFRRS results. https://www.tfrrs.org/athletes/4219283.html
Thanks! Did not realize she attended college here in the States. Curious as to what % of all T&F athletes attended college in the US and/or competed for that college?

Not a bad handoff at all for an 800m runner! Possibly a world record time for a relay run with an 800m specialist on anchor?!

        • Khaddi Sagnia just jumped 6.93(+0.3) PB in the qualifier at the Swedish Champs. In 13C and rainy conditions. 7m hopefully coming very soon. Weather forecast is much better tomorrow for the finals.

          • Sagnia is great, she just needs to get it right in the champs more often. But so much talent

I don't have the inclination to research it, but it's my gut feeling that nobody has had as many DL-protocol demotions over last 2 years as she has.

                  What is a "DL-protocol demotion"?

Should have won/placed higher based on best jump in a series, but didn't perform well in the last try that determines 1-2-3 per DL-protocol and lost/placed lower.

                    • World Record in Northern Ireland!

At the Antrim Coast Half Marathon Yalemzerf Yehualaw ran 63:43 to demolish Ruth Chepngetich's 64:02 from Istanbul in April.

Ethiopia’s Yalemzerf Yehualaw took 18 seconds off the world half marathon record, running a remarkable 1:03:44* at the Antrim Coast Half Marathon.

Moves her to #4 for Hungary and would give her the Vietnamese NR (even though she is Hungarian). Curious if anyone knows her back story? I know many Vietnamese immigrated for work to Eastern European nations and stayed after the fall of communism. Culturally, I think they put a high value on education and not sports so she seems to be unique in this manner esp.given there are many of them throughout the world but we don't see them represented. I'm not sure if she is mixed or just married to an ethnic Hungarian nor what her degree might be or how she got involved in athletics. Anyone have any insights?
Vietnamese father and Hungarian mother, according to Wikipedia.

Wow....that would have been the men’s WR as late as 1976.

48:39 last 10 miles. Only 3 minutes behind the men's winner.

Insane. The men's marathon WR was 2:08:33 in '76, IIRC. The mind boggles.

Of course there were far fewer half marathons in those days than marathons. But still.

A better comparison is the 10 mile track WR, still slower than the 48:12.0 by Emil Zátopek in 1951 enroute to the 20k record of 59:51.8.
