        • In a 5000 in Boston just now, Emily Sisson won easily in 14:59.12 and in the interview said she was only running the 10 at the Trials.

Molly Huddle finished 4th in 15:24.12.

Since he's been banged up a bit his presence and victory is a good thing.

                • Thoes are massive PBs for Southerland and Stafford. And Chanelle Price just misses her PB from 2015 by .02

Nice to see Donavan win with his finishing kick in a slow-paced race, especially since he hasnt raced in 5 weeks!!

Could we be looking at two Cardozo alumnae in the Olympics (Southerland and Muhammad)? Muhammad is pretty much a lock, but Southerland may have to get past Wilson, Rogers and maybe Mu.

Unfortunately Dejah Stevens will have to miss these games, but add in Phyllis Francis and at least Queens will be well represented

                              • Lost in the Engels/Kessler shuffle is poor Henry Wynne (USA!) who just blasted his PR from 3:36 to 3:34.08, SECOND fastest in the USA (over Centro, Nuguse, Teare, Hocker and Mr. Kessler).

Kudos also to Vincent Ciattei, 3:34.57, who had a 3:36 in 2020 (!) and can say the same thing.

While we realize it was a perfect storm that led to these great times (and maybe some cool shoes), but they still had to run them.
