Btw Powell, meant to ask this after Aneta's result, are Alicja and Aneta Konieczek sisters and do they both study at American universities (the same one)?

Yes, they are sisters, and both are US-based. I believe Alicja is no longer a student (although she did study in the US), while Aneta still is. And they didn't go to the same school.

Repeating myself from the ETC thread, Piotr Lisek and Marcin Lewandowski have been withdrawn from the team for Chorzów, to be replaced by Robert Sobera and Michał Rozmys. Lisek reportedly has a non-serious foot injury, while Lewandowski is just suffering from a stomach issue.

Elsewhere, the Poles started well in Gotzis. Adrianna Sułek is on course for a big PB with 3795 and 5th place after day 1, while Paweł Wiesiołek is in 10th with 4194 (still with a chance for a new PB)

I thought sprint relay did really nice job. Pia was great in 100 and Szostak's triple jump was also a big plus.

The Polish women's sprint relay has the potential to be really good, once Swoboda and Skrzyszowska join it (provided they do the baton training).
