Not track related, but bad news for Poland's swim squad.
Olympic swimmers sent home from Tokyo over country’s ‘embarrassing’ blunder
Six swimmers who thought they’d made Poland’s Olympics squad have returned home from Tokyo after sporting officials owned up to a heartbreaking blunder.
The Polish swimming federation (PZP) put 23 athletes on a flight to Japan - when they were only supposed to select and send 17.

RIP, Ed. You were one of a kind.
