Now, that would be going out on a limb. 😂😂
I'll go with Haratyk and Swoboda for gold

A number of athletes have reportedly withdrawn because of injuries and (in some cases) for other reasons. They include:

Ivana Spanovic (wLJ), Andriy Protsenko (mHJ), Ciara Mageean (w1500), Sondre Guttormsen (mPV), Petr Svoboda, Michael Obasuyi and Valdo Szucs (m60H), Radek Juska (mLJ), Marc Scott (m3000)

OK, Spanovic and Protsenko were medal contenders, but the other ones not so much. These EIC are still going to be pretty good.

One of the best things about this EIC is that it will be well-run. Poland does a great job with these events.

I only had Prot on my 3-deep cheat-sheet (as 3rd). None of the others. I guess I'll replace him with . . . Przy, after Tamb and Ned.

Well, only indoor race then. I'm not sure if the last weekend in February in Florida counts as winter!

Well, it's OUR winter, but yeah, it was in the 80s here over the weekend.

Konrad Bukowiecki is out, after breaking a toe. Ewa Swoboda tested positive for covid today, so it looks like she'll be out, too, unless the retest gives a different result.

Swoboda had a second +, so she's now definitely out :-/ Which leaves the Polish team with just one out of the two clear favorites (the other one being Michał Haratyk).
