D'oh! In the interview said he was only running because he would be fined if he didn't!! Is that a shoe thing?
I felt like he was joking, riffing on that NFL guy.

Easily. These look to be the earliest:

        Marion Jones - 10.79 - May 9th 1998
        Marion Jones - 10.71 - May 12th 1998
        Merlene Ottey - 10.78 - May 30th 1990

He's used to the wind, remember his 19.49 (+6.1) two years ago!

He was channeling Marshawn Lynch for sure.

Bednarket looked very good and his time was fast even taking into account the wind.

Ato kept saying she is now #5 all time, when in fact she is #6, SAFP and ET both sit equal #4 at 10.70 which maybe confused him.

Also, the on-screen startlists & results look like something from the 90s. Why don't they use the graphics package that WA provides for the Continental Tour meets, like they did for the recent CT meetings in Australia?
Too expensive, maybe? Technology like that isn't free!

Little should drop the 400H and focus on the flat. She's been consistently inconsistent with the hurdles, and she'd be fighting for 3rd place at the trials while staring at the backs of SM and DM, whereas if she maintains this form it's very unlikely 3 women would beat her in the flat 400.

The clip I saw, at first he said that (performance) was "in the top 5 times". Later he said she became "the fifth fastest ever" and then he listed the five athletes she is behind.

Hmm, I'm not as confident in that just yet. She basically finished even with Hayes who has been on the rebound from child birth and almost PRd in her 400m opener. We also haven't seen Phyllis Francis or Wadeline Jonathas open up yet.

I'm actually more convinced the faster Little gets, the better her hurdle chances are. Remember she ran 52.75, only having a flat PB of 50.40 at the time. Is 52 low out of the realm of possibility?

I believe that my fellow Chicagoan Little is realistically keeping her options open for the OT's. The women's 400h, men's shot, and the men's 200, barring injury will probably each have one spot available.
