I assume we will have many dropouts but some intriguing races - Huddle vs. Simpson in 5000 is like two old boxers meeting at a weight neither fights at to see which one is the best.

Typical track fans, talking about the actual track meet and relevant head to head competition, but completely skipping over the one athlete who will get the most publicity this weekend:

Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf running the 100m dash. Incase your not familiar (as I wasn't): https://youtu.be/J62GsevPwiQ

Wow ... especially wondering how Jager will do.

I don't follow football that closely to know of his speed, but as you predicted, NBC already gave him some press today, mentioning he's running at Mt SAC... the storyline is quite amusing...

Also, looks like the entry list was taken down at the USATF site... check back here when it is available again...

Metcalf tweeted about it. This is going to be a nice boost to the ratings!

                    I'll be super-impressed if he breaks 10.40!
Tyreek Hill can still run, I bet.

Ran 4.33 40 but he will likely not be close enough at 40 to tell anyone about it. Still, it's good pub.

I'll be super impressed if he breaks 11, or avoids a pride pull.
Great promo, though! Love to see it.

Yeah I saw NBC Sports promoting the footballer before the actual track athletes.

I actually forgot about the Mt Sac meet until I was scrolling and saw that clip of DK Metcalf posted by every running page.

You'd have to dig to realize Allyson Felix is running an outdoor 200m for the first time in 4 years

Besides the big names already mentioned, I'm happy to see Maggie Montoya's return to racing after the Boulder shootings!
No Jenn Suhr in the PV.
                              Is she hurt, or retired?
She's been listed 2 or 3 times this season, but DNS'ed each time!
                              And no Sam Kendricks either!
I think Hoppel can beat Brazier in the 800!
If Jager breaks 8:20, I'd be thrilled!

The list of studs is endless--if the weather is good, this will be the best meet of the year so far!!
