No, there is no K at the nationals. Big 12 runs it at conference though.

They inexplicably, and I think absurdly, run a 400m, 600y, 800m, 1000y and 1mile. Talk about stretching the middledistance/long sprinters thin.

800m = 876 years, then the 1000y? is there any pair of events anywhere that are as close to duplicates as these two?

Sorry, I meant 1000m not yards. Still, essentially the same event.
