The 2nd session of the meet, so to speak, (100,200,hurdles, etc.) must be on the track.

They had to break the tie, and there were cameras set up.

Just missed World U18 record (10.15, Schwartz, 2017). Not sure it would have counted if they ran on that street platform track anyways?

That was the question I had: do the results from this meet count for record purposes? Obviously in the 200 they won't, but what about the 100/110?

Yes interesting question. Also, wondering what are the track materials and its affect on times? Any educated guesses?

With the wind at -0.3 I'm guessing he would have got it with a legal tailwind - but the track is not legal -may have to wait a little bit for the official U18 record.

So for Road miles they don't officially use hundredths just thousandths for tie breaks?

Not about the races, but I'm loving the old Boston buildings, especially that beautiful church or cathedral behind the track to the right--at the corner! Anyone know the name of it??

19.89 by Blake? That's pretty impressive for a guy who hasn't run anything remotely that fast before.

Except it was run on a straight, so nothing like a regular 200.

as i recall, back in the day it was said that the curve added 0.5, so a 20.39 is right on his PR of 20.38.

that they weren't in PR shape at the time (but perhaps Blake is)?
