        They messed up the official measurement, so this is not a Texas record, but pretty close to what she really jumped.

        If anyone on this message board is a PV junkie, go immediately to polevaultpower.com and read the 'Technique' board's thread entitled "Big Bend vs. Little Bend" (8 pages long). Some of the best posts I've ever seen about the technical aspects of the vault. Keepers all.

          Basically she jumped at 14'0.5", cleared it and called it a day. The officials immediately dropped the standards and let the boys warm up. Her coach then asked for them measure it, but then it gets fuzzy and somehow it comes out to 13'3".
