Rojas is just awesome. I wonder how far she could jump if she had Povea's technique?

Ms. Rojas said that she wants to jump 16 meters. To have a chance she may need to improve her technique. Also, this meet is the place to see if Liadgmis Povea can jump a wind-legal 15 meters.

Im really interested to see Wayde Van Niekerk in the 400. Its been 3 1/2 years since he tore his ACL and Miniscus and that's an eternity in the 400. I'm hoping he can break 43 and set us all up for an amazing Olympic 400 final.

Exactly. First thing he needs is a 44.90 or better so he can actually qualify for the Olympics.

Since Povea will be in Madrid this Saturday, there is another Cuban I would like to see triple jump outside Cuba. That would be the junior Ms. Leyanis Perez. The overseas competition experience will do her good, since it will prepare her for the major championships, and Olympics, to come.
