I see Kessler much higher up the list.

Like Engels and wonder about the rest. Kessler will have to run multiple heats and that might sap him for the final. Hocker and Nuguse will have to do that twice in ten days.

Centro could be the old man in the final.

if it were a one-off race, perhaps, but running 3 races in 4 days with the big boys might be an ask at this stage.

Hocker is the real deal. I can absolutely see him turning up to the final in a Nike jersey having signed during the meet and joined Pete Julian's group.

I'm hoping for the absolute chaos of Kessler making it. Would be wild. I agree that he doesn't have the experience though. More realistically being in the final would be a massive success for him

If it's a 3:40 type race he will be a factor. If it's a 3:33 type race I like Nuguse.

                    There won't be a 3:33 race without a pacer.
I would not be surprised if the team is Centro, Hocker and Nuguse. Other than Centro, none of the pros have looked impressive so far.

Engels ran 3:33 three weeks ago.

                        Yoicks!
Heat 2 tomorrow - Hocker, Engles, Centrowitz. They're my top 3!
Kessler and Thompson in 1; Gregorek, Wynne and Nuguse in 3. And Blankenship's season debut. His last 1500/Mile, a year and a half ago.

Final at 4:40pm on Sunday. The temp forecasted will make even 3 1/2 minutes of running very uncomfortable.
