Harris with a pretty bold move that paid off... 1:44.76 and a DL win ain't bad

Kerley is beginning to look like a 400 meter guy playing at the 100.

Bromell shows he can do it outside the US.

Nice run from Bromell despite cool conditions.

Much better than women's 200m times.

Good to see Bahamian veteran Donald Thomas winning the men's high jump with 2.25.

It's obvious the commentators can't speak out against this stupid field event format.

Bol certainly is a medal favourite, which - despite her Euro form - I wouldn't have thought a month or two back.

What is the risk of injury in such conditions?
Apparently none if you have a decent coach and warm-up routine.

Pichardo jumps 17.29m on his first attempt and is passing the rest, knowing no one in the field can touch that. Let's hope he doesn't foul in round 6 and end up finishing 2nd or 3rd...

Hes safe with a 17.50m jump in round 6.

But Pereira ends up 3rd despite jumping 17.11m to Bocchi's 17.04m
