With the Olympic track & field set to begin on July 30, it might be time to start some predictions for the gold medals. Of course some of the events have definite favorites while other events are wide open right now.

Just put mine in and I can safely say that THIS prediction will be 100% correct: I will need to change some of them before the deadline. There's always a small flurry of news the last couple of days. Hassan drops the 1500. J Inge drops the 5000. Some biggie pops positive for something (esp. Covid!) and must withdraw.
