Which Murphy shows up here? Which Rotich?

For that matter, which Amos? I hope he finally fulfills the promise he showed in London in 2012.

Murphy for a medal. He was training through his last three races.

I like Clayton for a medal. He seems to rise to the occasion for big meets…

Seems crazy not to have Michael Saruni in top ten. He looked very sharp in winning the Kenyan trials. I’ve got him as second-favourite after Amos! Some people spending too long looking at world lists methinks…..

AR for Peter Bol. How fast can he go when he's not looking around and easing up?

That first heat was the fastest heat in Olympic history. Insane.

This is supposed to be the first round...
I must say they haven’t gotten slower after that crazy first heat

My gosh, who is the British announcer on the main NBC network that simply said Brazier had an uncharacteristic performance at the Olympic trials? Do you think he could be kind enough to mention that he had a broken foot?

Looks like Jewitt’s going to make it through at this point.

Good for him, but I don’t see him getting into the final. Roetich, Amos, Murphy, and others just looked so much stronger and relaxed in that homestretch. I hope it was just some nerves.
