Hard to say...she just ran through, never really made an attempt. Was weeping afterwards and I didn't see Brad Walker there to help her out.

      • Interesting---
        Allman opens with 66.48
        Stahl opens with 66.49

Both way ahead of the field after round one!

          • Rojas probably as or more sure than Crouser these days.
You there, on the motorbike! Sell me one of your melons!

            • Lot of throwers hitting the cage.

              • Looks can be deceiving on video, but it sure appears that Rojas gets very close to the end of the runway on her step phase.

                • Only Ceh has a fair throw in round 2--the 5 others all foul!!
Allman fouls her 2nd round--no one is close to her!
                  They've begun round 3!

                  • Wind looks like it's a problem in the TJs. Plenty of headwinds.

Idk know what's going on but that cage, while pointed correctly is not directly facing the far end of the stadium and I think the throwers are a little confused by that. All throws are going into the right side of the cage.

Also Allman is winning but seems more concerned with her dancing, which I'm starting to find annoying.

Maybe USATF and the IOC should add "Ring Dancing" to their list of events!
                          LOL

                          • Quanera Hayes! 49.88. Books her ticket to Eugene next year. She really treated this race like it was her trials and it payed off!

                              • Hayes is off to the World Champs next year. Now an extra slot for the open 400m ready for Allyson Felix if she returns next season.
