Bolt spent years training as a long sprinter before his 100m days, we are seeing the same thing here with Kerley, he like Bolt has that superior speed endurance.

The problem Jacobs has is his lack of major races. The only 2 major races he had, Monaco and Tokyo, he did beat a lot of top people (De Grasse, Bromell, Kerley) but aside from that, he has a losing record to Simbine (1-4), Baker (1-3) and never raced any of the top guys anywhere else. I'm not sure I can put Jacobs ahead of Simbine or Baker honestly, let alone De Grasse and Kerley.
