Noticing, Sidorava had a clean card through 4.96m. Have either Isinbayeva or Suhr ever gone that high with no misses? (Morris had 3 misses before she attempted 5m)

    WHOA, Sidorova clears 5.01m!

Michael Cherry! This was his trials as well and he knew it with that dive! He also gets the wild card to Eugene!

Didn't expect that from Hayes but good for her. As mentioned before not only means 4 in Eugene but she doesn't have to peak for Trials which seems to affect this more than some other events.

With 50.96, Candice McLeod just ran her first ever 50.x! All her other 400m times have been sub-50 or 51+.

Sidorova over 4.96m on her first attempt. Makes her sole #4 all time behind Isinbayeva, Suhr and Morris

Stefanidi had no choice but to pass to 4.91 but Sidorova made quick work of that. Competition over in less than an hour.

Hayes is off to the World Champs next year. Now an extra slot for the open 400m ready for Allyson Felix if she returns next season.

Quanera Hayes! 49.88. Books her ticket to Eugene next year. She really treated this race like it was her trials and it payed off!

Maybe USATF and the IOC should add "Ring Dancing" to their list of events!
    LOL
