until the African nations can come up with a better means of determining actual birthdates, the point is moot.

I would say a tie between Richards, Bolt and Felix.

Richards: Runner Up 200-400 NCAA Indoors. Ranked #2 in the USA Indoors at 200 & 400 meters. WJR 400 indoors AJR 200m Indoors. 2x AJR 400m outdoors 50.63 & 50.58. NCAA & USA Outdoor 400 Meters Champ. 4X400 Meters NCAA Indoors & Outdoors champ, and 4X400 Meters World Champ.

Felix: Ranked #2 in the world at 200m.WJR at 200m.
High School Record at 200 indoors

Bolt: tied WJR for 200m World Youth 200 Champ,Pan Am Juniors 200-400 meter champ, and Jamaican national 200 champ.

I know it was a long season, but neither Richards nor Felix were able to come close to their best times either on the Circuit or at the WC, with the exception of Richards' spectacular anchor.

        Don't forget that Dibaba's 5000 gold came after a 31:01.07 for 9th in the killer 10!

And don't forget that he didn't have a high school or collegiate season to go through. I think that looking at the year in its entirety is more fair.
